Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of mechanical system design experience.
• Experience with automation design (motors, gearboxes).
• Ability to design assemblies including generation of BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design assemblies, sub-assemblies and components using Solidworks.
• Ensure designs are robust through FMEA and design reviews.
• Work with teams to resolve project difficulties.

Skills

3D CAD Modelling (Solidworks preferred)

Documentation of design and calculations

Lean continuous improvement tools

Proficient in MS Office tools

Education

Graduate or HNC in engineering, manufacturing, or similar
