Overview

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (PERMANENT)

Location: Deeside

Hours: 8am–5pm Mon–Friday

Our client, based in the Deeside area, are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers on a permanent basis. The roles are permanent and will pay between 40,000 – 45,000 per annum, potentially more for more senior level engineers. You will be working for a well–known manufacturing company, with a number of manufacturing sites, and in a purpose built design office.

Responsibilities

• Able to run with a project, from client enquiry through to final design.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience
• 3D CAD modelling and detail drafting experience (ideally SolidWorks)
• Able to carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical parts using SolidWorks
• Have very good experience in 3D SolidWorks, covering fabrications, rotating parts, sheet metal and welded components/fabrications
• Able to understand basic fabrication processes from a design perspective
• Be able to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve
• Have recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
