• Solid experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Designing new products and developing improvements to existing ones.
• Creating detailed 3D CAD models, drawings and assemblies.
• Supporting concept development, stress considerations and material selection.
• Working closely with other engineering disciplines to support integrated designs.
• Producing documentation including specifications, assembly instructions and test approaches.
• Assisting with prototype builds, evaluations and practical test work.
• Managing own workload to meet project timelines.

Skills

Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Strong understanding of tolerances, mechanisms and precision components

Familiarity with manufacturing methods (machining, casting, moulding)

Experience in FEA, thermal or vibration analysis

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
