“Find your role”. You will:

  • You will work with the meat, fish and poultry technical team ensuring high standards of food safety, quality and legality. The role also involves the product development of our primal meat and fish ranges.
  • Support our suppliers to deliver safe, legal and great value products to our customers everyday
  • Champion Asda’s standards within the business and with suppliers so all of our products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Take the lead on customer dissatisfaction, leveraging the power of the BUD to bring about meaningful and sustainable change
  • Lead and own investigations into serious customer complaints and enforcement interactions
  • Take a leading role in product launches with our supply partners – so we all deliver right first time for customers
  • Own the review and approval of specifications, ensuring the principle of intrinsic food safety are at the heart of every product launched
  • Play an active and significant part in product optimisation to ensure we are able to offer Asda brand products at Asda price
  • Maintain a strong grip on key customer KPIs that you robustly deliver within your accountable area

  • The role does involve travel both within the UK and overseas
