Inspire Young Minds as a Maths Teacher – Failsworth (M35)

Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher with QTS, eager to ignite a love of numbers and problem-solving?

A vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Failsworth (M35) is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their thriving department.

Location: Manchester, Failsworth M35

Pay: £160 – £230 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: Immediate

The Role – Maths Teacher

This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality Maths lessons that spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop resilience in learners. You’ll be at the heart of helping students achieve academic success and gain the skills they need for life beyond school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Planning engaging, challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Fostering an inclusive classroom where students feel supported and motivated.
  • Working collaboratively within a dedicated Maths department to share best practice.
  • Providing constructive feedback and interventions to ensure progress for all.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent Maths teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge with a genuine passion for teaching Maths.
  • Skilled at adapting lessons to support a wide range of learners.
  • Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through Smile Education).
  • ECTs in their second year are warmly encouraged to apply.
