Maths Teacher – Full-Time Role Starting September 2025

Location: Sunderland area

Protocol Education are working on behalf of a forward-thinking secondary school in the Sunderland area to recruit a Maths Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

This school is known for its supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and strong focus on pupil progress. The maths department is well-established, with a collaborative team and a commitment to helping every student achieve their best—whether they love algebra or need a little extra confidence with fractions.

The role:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available if preferred)

• Creating engaging, structured lessons that build pupil confidence

• Tracking progress and adapting lessons where needed

• Contributing to a team that values energy, ideas, and support

You’ll need:

• UK QTS (or equivalent)

• Experience teaching Maths in secondary settings

• Strong subject knowledge and a calm, adaptable teaching style
