Overview

Maths Teacher / Cover Supervisor - Cambridgeshire

Location: Cambridgeshire (including Peterborough, Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, and surrounding areas)

Salary: £130-£230 per day (depending on experience and role)

Job Type: Supply / Temporary / Part-time / Full-time (subject to school needs)

Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

Aspire People is working with a variety of secondary schools across Cambridgeshire, seeking Maths Teachers and Cover Supervisors to provide high-quality education to students on a supply basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 if applicable)
• Cover Maths lessons on a supply basis when needed, ensuring students stay engaged
• Ensure effective classroom management and support for students' learning
• Contribute to the development of students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Track progress and provide feedback where appropriate

What you will need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and the ability to engage students
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Aspire People)
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
