Are you a dedicated and experienced Mathematics teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a passionate individual to cover a maternity leave at a large secondary school in Barnet, North London.

About the School:
Our client, a prominent secondary school in Barnet, is known for its commitment to academic excellence and a vibrant learning environment. The Mathematics faculty is one of the school's standout successes, achieving consistently strong student progress and outstanding results.

Position: Mathematics Teacher (0.8 FTE)
Type: Maternity Cover
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Inspiring and engaging students in the subject, fostering a love for Mathematics.
Implementing effective teaching strategies in setted groups with an average of 26 students.
Contributing to the success of the Mathematics faculty and maintaining the high standards of student achievement.

Results Highlights:

GCSE Cohort: 90% achieved 9-4 in Maths, 89% achieved 8-9 in Further Maths.
A Level: 85% A*-B in both Maths and Further Maths.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4.
Strong commitment to student progress and academic achievement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
