A leading healthcare organization in Chesterfield is seeking a Midwifery Support Worker for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves assisting midwives in delivering holistic care to women and their families. Key responsibilities include supporting maternity care, effective communication, and documentation. Candidates must possess GCSEs in Maths and English, an NVQ Level 3 in Health care, and should be adaptable to shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.
An opportunity has arisen to join Chesterfield Royal Hospital as a Midwifery Support Worker on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The post holder will support and assist midwives in delivering holistic, evidence-based antenatal and postnatal care to women and their families.
The post holder will undertake unsupervised aspects of care and therapeutic intervention as delegated by the midwife, within agreed guidelines and sphere of responsibility.
