A prominent healthcare organization in Coventry is seeking a Maternity Modern Matron to lead the perinatal services team for 12 months. The role involves overseeing recruitment, preceptorship programs for newly qualified midwives, and ensuring governance and quality in antenatal services. Successful candidates will hold a Midwife qualification and have significant leadership experience. Offering a competitive salary of £55,690 to £62,682 pro rata per annum, this position is pivotal for improving healthcare delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Midwife to join the perinatal senior leadership team for a 12 month period to lead on perinatal workforce, antenatal clinic and antenatal screening.
The successful postholder will lead on recruitment and retention across the perinatal service providing upwards reporting of workforce data. The postholder will oversee the preceptorship programme for newly qualified midwives and the student support programme.
The postholder will have leadership responsibility and accountability for the antenatal clinic and antenatal screening departments with innovative service improvement.
As a credible senior leader with managerial responsibility for perinatal services you will work as a visible leader within the group management structure demonstrating collaborative working across the MDT. As a modern matron you will be responsible for delivering the goals as outlined in the Matrons Handbook.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Secondment will be considered for internal candidates - If you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer.
