Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting and delivering marketing campaigns across our UK & Ireland PBSA portfolio. Working within the UK & Ireland Marketing Team, whilst also collaborating alongside regional leasing and central marketing functions, you’ll be hands-on in executing local campaigns, producing creative content, and rolling out marketing activities that directly support leasing performance.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting creative, and is excited about contributing to the success of a fast-growing PBSA brand. You’ll be supported by senior marketing leadership while also gaining valuable experience working with leasing teams, central specialists, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Delivery:

  • Support the planning and execution of campaigns aligned to academic cycles and key intake dates, guided by the Marketing Manager.
  • Deliver regional and local marketing initiatives, including:
  • Digital listings and third-party campaigns (display, email).
  • Print materials and out-of-home campaigns.
  • Student-facing activations and events.
  • Influencer and social media collaborations.
  • Photography & videography.
  • Assist in activating local booking campaigns with Area Managers and Leasing Teams to support occupancy targets.
  • Coordinate campaign assets, ensuring consistency with Yugo brand guidelines.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:

  • Partner with the Regional Leasing Team, supporting leasing activity with tailored marketing initiatives.
  • Work with central marketing teams (Digital, Social Media, Mobilisation, International, Website) to align local campaigns with wider brand activity.
  • Provide guidance to site teams on local marketing initiatives such as social media, local partnerships, and student events.
  • Liaise with our digital agency, sharing local insight.
  • Collaborate with the sales and leasing team, as well as other central marketing functions

Content & Creative:

  • Update and maintain content (copy and imagery) across Yugo’s CMS (CoreMedia) and third-party listings.
  • Draft and proof student-facing materials and campaign copy.
  • Support in the execution of print & digital campaign creatives.
  • Contribute creative ideas to campaign planning sessions, helping to shape engaging and innovative activity.

Reporting & Optimisation:

  • Track and report on campaign performance, supporting the Marketing Manager in sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor local leasing performance and suggest small tactical adjustments to marketing strategy when needed.
  • Remain aware of competitor marketing activity to inform campaigns.

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Marketing, communications, or related degree (or relevant experience).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels (social media, content, email).
  • Hands-on experience with marketing campaign delivery.
  • Good organisational and project management skills.
  • Copywriting and content creation experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Experience updating content on CMS systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel in the region.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with agencies or managing external suppliers.
