Overview
Lead Marketing – managing six Brands - is responsible for driving revenue growth, brand visibility, and market expansion across the business. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing all aspects of sales performance, marketing strategy, and customer engagement. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver integrated campaigns, strengthen client relationships, and identify new opportunities for growth. With a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, you will shape the commercial direction of the business while ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Brand & Strategy
- Define and maintain a clear brand identity for W Group and each sub-brand
- Align messaging, visual identity, and tone across all channels
- Support new acquisitions and rebrands
- Provide estimating & Commercial Support to maximise opportunities
- Content & Campaigns
- Manage and deliver newsletters (bi-annual external, quarterly internal)
- Produce investor decks, bid documents, and client presentations
- Drive PR, case studies, and project photography
- Business & Development Support
- Support SLT with bids, pitches, and client proposals
- Produce collateral that highlights expertise and differentiators
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project leads to package case studies
- Events & Internal Communications
- Organise client-facing events, exhibitions, and staff culture initiatives
- Manage internal comms to ensure alignment with group vision/values
- Increase qualified inbound enquiries by agreed % within 12 months
- Deliver all newsletters and investor decks on time
- Grow LinkedIn engagement and followers by X%
- Positive internal feedback on brand clarity and comms
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent in marketing/communications
- 5+ years experience in marketing (construction, property, or design ideal)
- Strong writing and design skills with competency and knowledge across several design packages
- Excellent project management, and multi-brand coordination and advantage
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, able to work directly with CEO and SLT
