Job description
Overview

Chaotic is a UK-based competition platform with a purpose. Every campaign we run helps to support Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) causes, ensuring that our work creates a lasting positive impact in the community.

We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our fast-paced and growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, content creation, and brand storytelling — with the confidence to support both digital campaigns and on-the-ground activations.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the department, helping to deliver engaging campaigns that grow our audience, strengthen our brand, and drive meaningful customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign delivery, from planning and briefing to execution.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team and other internal teams (Digital Engagement and Community Teams) to align campaign activities.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and meet brand standards.
Reporting & Insights
  • Track and analyse campaign performance against agreed KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI, etc.).
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for the Head of Marketing and wider team.
  • Use insights to make recommendations for optimising future campaigns.
  • Monitor social media and campaign analytics to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
Administrative Tasks
  • Assist with maintaining campaign trackers, reports, and budgets.
  • Support the Head of Marketing with scheduling, calendar management, and project deadlines.
  • Provide general administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Events, Partnerships & Relationship Management
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of events, street activations, and content shoots.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide on-the-ground support to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in building and managing relationships with partners, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive relationships with external collaborators to maximise opportunities for growth and brand visibility.
Marketing Collateral & Team Collaboration
  • Assist with the development and distribution of marketing collateral (digital and print).
  • Ensure all materials are aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team to deliver joined-up campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support cross-department collaboration, ensuring consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints.
Key Skills & Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree in Marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong social media experience across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Proven content creation skills (video, copywriting, photography, or design).
  • Proficiency with Canva for content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and measure performance.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging ideas and bring them to life.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events and activations.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Previous experience in a marketing or brand role.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment, competitions, or gaming industry.
