Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Executive to join us. Laser Additive Solutions Ltd are an Advanced Engineering company who work with a range of sectors and companies including some well‑known Primes (e.g. Rolls‑Royce, Siemens Energy, MoD). With no marketing team, we are seeking someone who would have sole responsibility for leading marketing activities including digital marketing and content creation. As a small business we are looking for someone who is flexible and a signifant part of the role will involve supporting the wider team too, for example this would likely include performing some administrative work.

What you'll do at work

This is a new role so there may be the opportunity to develop this role, however key aspects of this role typically may include (but are not limited to):

• Leading and undertaking digital (and any non-digital) marketing activities
• Managing and updating the company website
• Leading and undertaking content creation
• Developing the company's Marketing Strategy
• Undertaking tasks to support the wider team such as administrative work
• Writing and developing documentation linked to our ISO9001 accreditation
• Attending some events to promote the company, and perform any activities to support wider team members attending marketing activities
• Meetings with potential customers (largely on-line rather than face to face)
• Onboarding paperwork for new customers and any other key portals or communities ensuring the company information is input or updated

Desirable Skills/Qualification/Experience

• Be able to demonstrate marketing experience including leading project work
• Be able to demonstrate how they have worked independently as well as part of a team
• Be able to demonstrate previous office or administrative experience
• It is desirable to have familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• It is desirable to have either a Marketing Degree and/or the minimum of 3 years Marketing experience which you may have developed from any sphere of life eg hobbies, social events, industry, a leadership role with some marketing responsibility or otherwise
• A strong academic background is highly desirable
• An interest in engineering is advantageous but not essential
