About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a friendly, vibrant and collaborative marketing agency. This is an exciting chance for a talented and commercially-driven Account Manager to join their growing team. In their busy, fast-paced studio, you'll be a key part of their close-knit team, taking the lead on building new business growth and deep client relationships for the agency.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the full sales cycle, from initial lead qualification to creating proposals, delivering pitches, and closing new business
  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, both by growing existing client accounts and pursuing new leads
  • Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Getting to grips with our clients\' businesses, understanding their needs, and developing effective marketing strategies to help them grow
  • Managing projects from the initial brief right through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget
  • Liaising with the internal team of creatives and strategists, as well as external suppliers, to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects
Requirements / Ideal candidate
  • A minimum of 2 years\' experience in a client-facing role within a marketing, creative, or digital agency
  • A proven track record as part of a sales team within an agency environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Comfortable working with Content Management Systems
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A strong, all-round understanding of digital marketing (websites, SEO, content marketing) as well as brand development
  • A proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude with a keen eye for commercial opportunities
