This is your unique chance to join the team as we are currently looking for a Market Logistic Specialist.

We offer

A very interesting role, where you will join a dedicated team as our Market Logistic Specialists.

You will be part of a 12 person team located in Germany, Denmark and Scotland. We work closely together as well as working closely with other key stakeholders – internally and externally.

You will be based at our beautiful and modern office in Glenrothes, Fife in Scotland and there will be approximately 10 days travel a year.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Logistics Director, you will support the regional Market Logistics Team in our daily business.

You will have your own areas of responsibilities and furthermoreassist the Market Logistics Managers in driving the regional performance management, within the areas of Service, Quality and Cost.

Especially, you will:

• Report and analyse key logistics performance indicators
• Participate in and lead continuous cost optimization of the logistics set-up with focus on lean processes
• Participate in regional / global projects and initiatives
• Drive local / regional logistics initiatives
• Support the Market Logistics Team in creating analysis, presentations and background information
• Participate in Logistic Service Provider dialogs, following up on Continuous Improvement Programs
• Understanding customer needs & follow up with customer interactions

Who we are looking for

There are various ways in to this role – you could hold a degree or logistics qualification and a few years of experience from a similar role or supply chain background – or alternatively you can be a fresh graduate with a relevant degree and solid theoretical knowledge of the area.

Most importantly, you have an analytical and collaborative mindset and an interest in logistics.

Furthermore, you have:

• Analytical skills and mindset – enabling decisions based on documented fact & figures
• CRM system experience and ideally SAP and/or Power BI knowledge
