Job summary

A marine engineering company in Cookham is looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to maintain and service various vessels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inboard engines and diagnostics. This role offers a salary of £35,000 - £40,000, a company bonus, and 28 days of holiday. The position is primarily Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.

Overview

I am representing a well-established, Marine engineering company known for its high standards in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. Due to continued growth and a strong reputation within the leisure and commercial marine industry, they are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inboard engines, diagnostic systems, and general boat maintenance. Responsibilities

• Day to Day service and maintenance of a range of Vessels
• Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification work on inboard Engine / Propulsion systems
• Ordering and fitting of replacement parts
• Working in a customer facing capacity
• Undertaking at-sea tests on repaired vessels

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience with Volvo - Penta Engines
• Previous experience working on Maritime Vessels
• Mechanically biased skillset including fault finding, diagnosis, PPM's and breakdowns
• Experienced working on inboard Maritime Engines
• Based within a commutable distance of Maidenhead
