Overview

Manufacturing Support Technician – Deeside | Temporary/Contract | £25,000 - £30,000

Our client, a renowned global CDMO with a 50+ year track record, provides a range of complementary services and supports products through their entire lifecycle. The business embraces emerging technologies to add value at every stage of a customer’s project.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth operation of cleanrooms and compliance with GMP guidelines and health and safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and site activities as required, including warehouse support and scale-up/scale-down technical transfer runs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the production facility and manage clean room stock levels.
  • Conduct routine environmental sampling in cleanrooms and water systems.
  • Support production operations including material, product, samples and waste transfer operations.
  • Generate material and process risk assessments (CoSHH and general risk assessments).
  • Assist with sourcing equipment, raw materials and consumables for manufacturing projects.
  • Maintain personal Job Training Folder and provide cover to support other functions in the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures related to Health and Safety and GMP.
  • Participate in maintenance of the site pharmaceutical quality system, including raising change controls and deviations, conducting deviation root cause investigations, identifying CAPA, supporting quality risk management processes, and periodically reviewing production documentation (BMRs and SOPs).
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • A working knowledge of GMP production is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
