Overview

Roc Search's key client are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their supporting team based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering NPI and CI projects, improving existing processes/products and delivering business KPIs related to safety, quality, cost and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NPI and CI projects.
• Improve existing processes and products.
• Contribute to achieving safety, quality, cost and delivery KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, metallic detail manufacturing and final assembly.
• Considerable experience in any two of the following areas: general assembly and fabrication; sheet metal forming; CNC machining; heat treatment; welding; EDM.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, FAIR, PPAP and AS9100.
• Experience in managing projects and risks.
• Understanding of problem investigation tools (PFMEA, RCA, 8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Understanding of engineering drawing and GD&T.
