Job summary

A leading defence organization based in Bolton is seeking a Manufacturing Controller subcontractor for an initial 12-month contract. The role requires stores experience within a manufacturing environment and involves stock control, loading manufacturing jobs, and updating records. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and have relevant training including manual handling and ESD. The position offers an initial hourly rate of £24.78, increasing to £26.12 after 12 weeks, with overtime availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.
• Follow instructions and work on own with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns is essential.

Responsibilities

• Stock control and storekeeping including shelf life control.
• Loading manufacturing cells following planned lead and cycle times.
• Packing, receiving and issuing of tooling.
