Salary: Up To £70K + Pkg
Location: Waterloo
Region: London

We are currently recruiting for TWOManaging Quantity Surveyor leading main contractor who operate within the Rail division. The Managing Quantity Surveyors will need to present proposals to managers and clients within in the Rail projects located in Waterloo/ Wessex Region.

You will be expected to supervise a team to ensure that projects are completed on-time, within the allocated budget, and you will have intermittently travel when necessarily.

Relevant Qualifications needed;

  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Progressed steadily from an Engineering background
  • Previously worked on Rail sectors
  • Chartership
  • Experience of managing a team of on site staff (engineers, foreman, etc)

Key Main Responsibilities;

  • Providing Senior Quantity Surveying services to our end clients.
  • Tender preparation
  • Internal cost & value reconciliations
  • Budget control & forecasting
  • Direct client liaisons including resolution of any disputes that arise
  • Monitoring of subcontract procurement
  • Identifying & implementing new control systems
  • Ability to manage a commercial team
  • Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
  • Undertake the contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers
