Managing Director - Residential Lettings

Location: North West, UK

Salary: 100,000 - 140,000 per annum

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a sizeable portfolio of over 5,000 units, managing a team of 50+ staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to landlords and tenants alike. Reporting into the wider leadership team (COO, CFO, CEO), you will take full accountability for financial performance, operational delivery, and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the lettings and management business to ensure continued growth and success
  • Oversee all operational aspects including budgets, financial performance, and P&L
  • Manage and motivate a team of 50+ staff, including direct reports
  • Attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent across the organisation
  • Build strong relationships with the wider leadership team to align strategy and delivery
  • Ensure excellent service delivery and performance on behalf of landlords and tenants
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years' experience at Managing Director level
  • At least 10 years' experience within residential lettings/property management
  • Proven track record of success in leading large teams and portfolios
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Ideally based in the North West region
