Manager - Technology in M&A

BearingPoint is looking for a Manager to join BearingPoint Capital, its global Technology M&A team in London, to work on Technology Due Diligence and integration/separation engagements.

In this role, you will be involved in:
  • Leading Technology Due Diligence engagements
  • Supporting clients with Tech financials, including assessing IT Opex/Capex, synergy assessment, IT Carve-out costing, benchmarking, and cost estimations
  • Driving sales in the London/UK Private Equity and Corporate markets
  • Supporting leadership in building proposals and sales pitches
  • Practice development and team mentoring
  • Work closely with our Europe-wide teams across a wide variety of industries
  • Assist in developing and executing BearingPoint’s firmwide M&A strategy
We are looking for top performing individuals with the following characteristics and background:

You should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong experience in an M&A advisory role
  • Hands-on experience of leading technology due diligence engagements
  • Demonstrable ease with financials e.g. IT Opex/Capex, synergy assessment, IT Carve-out costing, benchmarking, and cost estimations
  • Experience of working with Private Equity clients and with CxO level client stakeholders
  • Ability to drive sales and business growth
  • A strong business acumen and resourcefulness; ability to get things done
  • A team player who can work in a collaborative culture and mentor juniors
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a highly pressured environment which characterise transactions
  • Experience of delivering high-quality reports and presentations, written and spoken
  • Experience in IT Separation and Integration management will be an added advantage but not mandatory
  • An MBA degree will also be an added advantage
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
