A leading payment processing company is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead and grow high performing teams. This remote role in the UK involves designing and building payment APIs and ensuring system performance. We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Manager with a track record of leading and growing high performing engineering teams. You will partner closely with product and other engineering teams to design and build foundational payment APIs which enable us to process payments globally at scale. These systems form the backbone of our ability to transact financially with customers and partners across both existing financial products and new product development.
In this role you will own metrics around the performance and availability of our payment systems. You will be a key member of the seed team as we expand our engineering presence into multiple countries.

Equity Grade - 7
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
GBR base pay range per year: £140,000 - £180,000
