Qualifications

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP formulas).

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team at Taranto. This is a fully remote, part-time (3 days per week) position. Your Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Management
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journals and reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end procedures including prepayments and accruals
  • Support the preparation of management accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset register
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review
  • Support budget monitoring and variance analysis
  • Contribute to year-end audit preparation
  • Ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements and timelines
Systems & Administration
  • Utilise NetSuite for financial transaction processing and reporting
  • Maintain organised filing systems for financial documentation
  • Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on financial queries
Compliance & Controls
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
  • Support statutory reporting requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Skills Required
  • AAT qualified (level 4) or part-qualified CA/CIMA/ACCA, with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a corporate finance role.
  • NetSuite experience highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP formulas)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines in a part-time schedule
What we offer
  • Salary up to £24,000 per annum pro rata ( £40,000 FTE).
