• Producing monthly management accounts and key financial insights.
• Leading year-end preparation with external auditors.
• Creating finance sections of monthly board reports.
• Completing accurate VAT returns and quality-checking assistant accountants' work.
• Supporting the assistant accountant through regular 1:1s.
• Building strong relationships across the business.

This influential Head Office role will own the monthly management accounts process, gain hands‑on exposure across the business and play a key part in shaping financial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing monthly management accounts, including project‑level P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and key financial insights
• Leading year‑end preparation and working with external auditors
• Creating the finance sections of monthly board reports, presenting clear and meaningful updates
• Completing accurate and timely VAT returns
• Reviewing and quality‑checking work from assistant accountants
• Supporting and developing the assistant accountant through regular 1:1s
• Acting as a go‑to person for finance queries, including credit control escalations
• Building strong relationships across the business and with external partners

What We’re Looking For

• AAT qualified or part‑qualified ACA/ACCA (desirable, not essential)
