Key Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly site‑level management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis.
  • Analyse variances against budgets and forecasts, providing clear commentary and recommendations to management.
  • Lead cost‑accounting processes — including job and product costing — to support pricing, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling.
  • Manage the site’s Capex process and fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.

  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control activities.
  • Support ongoing development of Accounting System and Power BI reporting tools.
About You
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing, factory, or operational finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and solid ERP systems experience (NetSuite advantageous).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Experience in inventory / WIP management, fixed asset accounting, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with month‑end and year‑end reporting, including audit preparation.
What They Offer
  • Base salary up to £50,000 per annum
  • Pension scheme
