Due to major programme wins in our Health and Real Estate sectors, Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for procurement professionals to join our team.

Our wider team includes specialists in procurement, contract strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution. We are recognized by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) for excellence in procurement processes, receiving the Procurement Excellence Programme Award.

The Opportunity

The individual will lead our skilled team in delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services.

Main Expectations

  • Provide procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Manage end-to-end procurement on major projects or programmes
  • Develop and enhance procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
  • Lead and develop a team to ensure successful client outcomes
  • Manage client relationships and project deliverables
  • Support business development and marketing efforts
  • Lead bid preparation and support work-winning activities
  • Contribute to team and business targets

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience leading strategic procurement projects for public and private clients
  • Strong background in tendering, negotiation, and contract management (NEC, JCT)
  • Experience in client relationship and people management
  • Public procurement experience is highly desirable
  • Willingness to work towards MCIPS accreditation
  • Degree in construction, civil engineering, law, or procurement preferred

Skills

  • Ability to develop strategies and documentation for large procurement projects
  • Strong relationship-building and issue resolution skills
  • Experience with supplier evaluation, commercial principles, and supply chain strategies
  • Skills in developing SRM strategies and activities
  • Ability to manage business development and career growth activities
