A space technology company in Glasgow is seeking a skilled technician to assemble and test satellite systems. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and hands-on experience in electronics or mechanical assembly. You'll work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for learning and impactful contributions. Hybrid work model available.
To grow in this role, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is curious about the industry, and is open to suggesting new ideas. Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be helpful, but not essential. You’ll be following detailed work instructions with care and attention to quality, while also using your problem-solving skills when things aren’t fully documented or are changing.
You’ll be part of a supportive team where diverse perspectives are valued, and mentorship is part of the culture. We’re actively working towards a more balanced and inclusive environment. Whether you’re just starting your career or looking to grow your hands-on experience, this is a place where your work will have a real impact—building technology that reaches space.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work five days per week in the office.
Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licenses—this is not something candidates need to have before applying.
