What awaits you?

1. As a Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities include ensuring the effective technical use of maintenance principles to maintain the efficiency and availability of our facilities. You will provide hands-on technical support to resolve quality, efficiency, and complex issues.
2. You will demonstrate competence in fault finding on electrical systems, interrogate electrical schematics, and understand mechanical fault diagnosis, setup, and gauge systems maintenance.
3. You will proactively identify potential malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime, ensuring quality and reducing non-conforming materials.
4. You will identify and rectify faults in machinery, equipment, and processes promptly to ensure maintenance and facility targets are met.
5. Utilize health and safety systems to record breakdowns, manage material searches, and warranty processes.

What should you bring?

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical discipline.
• Technical apprenticeship in Electrical or Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, preferably with high-volume production machinery.
• Familiarity with machinery, electrical/mechanical systems, PSS, and SAP data recording is advantageous.

This role operates on a weekend night shift pattern with shift premiums for unsociable hours.
