Overview

Maintenance Technician

Location: Brackmills, Northampton

Salary: £34,400 inclusive of shift pay

Hours: This is a shift role working 12 hour shifts to support the customer site based in Northampton. This role would suit anyone who wants to make a move into engineering.

The Role

This role would interest anyone who wants to work with a team and learn about automation and warehouse logistics.

The Maintenance Technician will report to the Lead Maintenance Engineer, will liaise with the customers operational team and will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the automation delivers the operational plan daily.
  • Ensuring Simple Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
  • Reactive tasks are managed quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault information.
  • Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
