Overview

Maintenance Technician (Full Training Provided) – Birmingham

£30,000 + 10% Shift Allowance (£33,000) + Full Training + Progression + Overtime + Bonuses + Pension + Life Insurance

This role offers an opportunity to work within the renewable energy sector with autonomy, responsibility, training and long‑term development. The company is a market leader providing a sustainable solution for the haulage industry, supplying liquified natural gas (LNG). The business is expanding its operations and installing more refuelling stations nationwide, supported by recent investments from BP.

You will join at an exciting time, contributing to the safe operation of a brand new Open Access LNG Refuelling Station and helping UK truck fleets reduce carbon emissions. Full training is provided; a mechanical maintenance background is desirable, with varied backgrounds considered.

The Role

• Working a four on four off shift pattern: Early 05:30 – 14:00, Late 14:00 – 22:00.
• Monitoring refuelling stations and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the new LNG station.
• Planned maintenance tasks and minor breakdown repairs; adherence to health and safety requirements.
• Maintain safe operation and compliance within a brand‑new facility.

The Person

• Experience in a mechanical maintenance role.
• Ideally has technical qualifications; health and safety certificates are a bonus.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress your skill sets.
