Maintenance Supervisor

South Kensington

£50,000 - £55,000

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of engineers within a major, high-profile environment in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer or Supervisor looking to step into a leadership position while being part of a large, established building services team.

In this role, you will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring the effective delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance across commercial spaces. You'll work as part of a wider technical team responsible for maintaining a broad estate with complex building services systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team
• Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Overseeing the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and associated building services equipment (motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, fire alarms, emergency lighting, BMS, etc.).
• Ensuring compliance, safety standards, and technical documentation (logbooks, permits, RAMS) are maintained to a high standard.
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all works are delivered efficiently and professionally.
• Liaising with stakeholders on-site and ensuring a high level of service delivery.
• Supporting the wider building services team across the estate when required.

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong background in building services maintenance.
• Previous experience supervising or leading engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
