Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance roles.
  • Ability to work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Home Manager.
  • Skills in basic plumbing and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety checks and servicing on all equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of general areas.
  • Assemble furniture and perform painting and decorating tasks.
  • Handle on-call duties as required.

Your role will include
  • Working closely with the Maintenance Manager or nominated colleague to make sure that our residents live in a place that is safe and well maintained at all times
  • Ensuring that regular safety checks and servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are kept
  • Having excellent communication with the Home Manager and also the Residents
  • Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance
  • Clearing and Cleaning general areas
  • Assembling furniture
  • Painting and decorating

This position will require on call duties

What you need

You must have excellent communication skills with Manager's, Colleagues, Residents and Visitors to the Home.
