Job summary

A leading biopharmaceutical company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join on a contract basis for 3 to 6 months. The role involves building and managing a skilled maintenance team, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and maintaining plant and equipment. Applicants should have a relevant degree, significant maintenance management experience, and a mechanical/electrical background. This position offers competitive pay of £35.90 per hour PAYE or £46.47 per hour Umbrella.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Maintenance Management role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration qualification with a higher-level qualification.
• Formal Supervisory/Management qualification preferred.

CK Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join a leading biopharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 3 with a possibility to extend to 6 months.

Salary

£35.90 per hour PAYE or £46.47 per hour Umbrella

Maintenance Manager role

• Build and manage a highly skilled Process Maintenance team.
• Ensure root cause analysis investigations occur to identify the underlying issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide valuable end-user input on all Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects related to their area.
• Provide effective and efficient maintenance of all plant and equipment including machine troubleshooting.
• Responsible for cGMP document compliance associated with all maintenance documentation.

Your Background

• Mechanical/ Electrical/ Refrigeration qualification with a higher-level qualification.
• Relevant Degree in an Engineering or Scientific area.
• Significant experience in a Maintenance Management role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience of SAP and in Operational Excellence at Green Belt level would be an advantage.
• Formal Supervisory/ Management qualification preferred.
