  • Support management in investigations on reported SHE incidents.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery.

ROLE: Maintenance Fitter
HOURS: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday - Friday
SALARY: £15.31 p / hr

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components and structures by interpreting technical drawings and using appropriate tools and machinery.

WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE FITTERS DO
  • Perform various welding techniques (MIG & TIG) to join metal components securely and cleanly
  • Accurately assemble and fit fabricated parts, ensuring alignment, fit, and functionality according to design specifications
  • Support management in investigations on reported SHE incidents
  • Provide relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans, escalating incidents in line with SHE
  • Install completed components and systems on sites or in workshops, including structural frameworks and piping
  • Read and understand engineering drawings
  • Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure operational efficiency and longevity
