Overview

Are you a hands-on, electrically biased engineer? We're recruiting a number of Maintenance Technicians to join a leading UK manufacturer at their West Bromwich site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business investing heavily in engineering and career development.

You will need to commit to either one of the following shift patterns with a degree of flexibility to cover holidays and/or sickness.

  • Continental shift - Days only 7am - 7pm
  • PM shift - Permanent 2pm - 11pm shift
Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Diagnose and repair faults, carrying out root cause analysis
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
  • Support ongoing site improvements and efficiency projects
What We're Looking For
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or other fast-paced environments (food sector experience desirable but not essential)
  • 18th Edition Electrical Certificate - an advantage
