Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) – Nottingham

Salary: £46,500 (inc. shift allowance) + great benefits inc. bonus

Shifts: Permanent Nights – Mon to Thurs 10pm to 6am, Fri 8pm to 3am

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment?

Responsibilities
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns, repairs, and work requests
  • Supporting major projects across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure
  • Working with injection moulding machines, CNC machinery, and conveyor systems
  • Applying hands-on knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition BS7671 (essential) and Inspection & Testing desirable
  • A proactive approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Driving license and own vehicle as you may on occasion need to travel to support another local site (mileage covered)
