Maintenance Technician

Location: Tamworth

Shift Pattern: Days, Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000 + £3,000 Annual allowance for training or qualifications + Overtime Opportunities + Soft Benefits

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, dynamic environment where your technical expertise will play a key role ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery, including motors, rollers, belts, sensors, drives, and more.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar environment.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high standards.
  • Level 3 qualification in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
