Qualifications

Overview

Engineering Technician – Hands On Role in a Busy Manufacturing Environment

Are you a proactive, hands on engineer who loves keeping machinery running at its best? We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to join a busy, fast paced production site where no two days are the same!

You’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly, helping with exciting projects, and making sure the site is safe and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Taking charge of preventative maintenance to keep production machinery in top shape.
  • Jumping in to fix machine breakdowns when they happen your expertise keeps the line moving.
  • Sourcing engineering spares and consumables, so downtime is minimised.
  • Getting involved in projects that improve processes and equipment.
  • Managing and supervising external contractors on site.
  • Keeping health & safety standards front and center.
Qualifications
  • Strong maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Time-served apprenticeship or HNC qualification.
  • Up to date electrical qualifications, ideally
  • Comfortable with IT systems.
  • A proactive, “can do” attitude you get stuck in and make things happen.
Hours

Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm, with occasional evenings and weekends to cover breakdowns or planned maintenance.
