Maintenance Engineer - Panama NIGHT shift only

£56,087 per year, plus benefits including yearly pay reviews, 7% matched pension, private medical healthcare, and profit-related pay.

I'm looking for a skilled maintenance engineer to join a dynamic team at a busy factory. As a maintenance engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all electrical and mechanical machinery is running smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

About the Company

My client is a large multi-sited production company with a turnover of over £1bn and plans to grow even bigger over the next few years.

Role Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns
  • Respond to machinery breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Install new machinery and equipment when necessary
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Ideal Candidate
  • A level 3 engineering qualification
  • Experience within a maintenance role
  • A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
