Maintenance Engineer
Location: Flint
Salary: Up to £48,000 package

Shift Pattern
  • Rotating shifts: 6am–3pm / 1pm–10pm (40-hour week)

  • Early Friday finish (6am–12pm / 12pm–6pm)

A leading plastics manufacturer specialising in injection moulding is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their Flint Sites. The Role

As the site’s dedicated Maintenance Engineer, you’ll take ownership of both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime across a wide range of equipment including injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, vacuum forming cells, chillers, granulators, compressors, and more. You’ll be the key escalation point for technical issues, bringing your electrical bias and mechanical know-how to keep production running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For
  • Electrical bias (open to 60/40 split).

  • Experience maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment.

  • Skilled in PLC programming and fault-finding (I/O).

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and some facilities support.

  • Ideally 5 years’ post-qualification experience (or QBE).
