Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Droitwich (WR9)
Salary: £40,000£45,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (days & nights 6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am)

A large-scale, high volume manufacturing site in Droitwich is urgently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer following a last‑minute interview dropout. This position requires someone who can hit the ground running in a fast‑paced production environment, ensuring all machinery is performing at optimum levels.

The successful candidate will support continuous production, maintain plant reliability, and respond effectively to both planned and reactive maintenance needs across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keep all blow moulding and associated manufacturing machinery operating at peak performance to minimise downtime and maintain full production output.
  • Carry out swift and effective fault‑finding, repairs, and root‑cause analysis during equipment breakdowns.
  • Deliver both preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in accordance with site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and maintenance documentation.
  • Support wider engineering activities across plant services as required within training scope.
  • Ensure all work aligns with health & safety expectations, quality procedures, and site hygiene requirements.
  • Follow engineering best practice and escalates any risks, issues, or ongoing defects.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, ideally in high volume (FMCG, food, beverage, pharma, plastics, packaging, etc.).
  • NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in an engineering discipline.
  • Strong multiskilled ability; an electrical bias is preferred but not essential.
  • UK‑based experience is required. Sponsorship not available; candidates with dependent visas can be considered.
  • Confident working in a 24/7 automated production setting.
