Role: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum

Hours: 4 on 4 off, 18.00pm to 6.00am (Nights)

Location: Commutable from Bath, Oxford, Cheltenham, Swindon

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical who will be considered to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Engineers working in this fast paced environment. You will also benefit from opportunities to gain further qualifications, developing more skills and building a career within this large company.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineers (Maintenance Technicians) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble‑shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like to variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who aren't afraid to apply themselves and learn.

Requirements
  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification or have over 5 years of qualification by experience
  • Background and experience in maintenance or service work in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Have any of the following experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3‑phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings etc. – any of these will be considered.
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude
  • Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
