Maintenance Engineer Jobs in Andover at WORK – Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join Stannah, based in Andover. This role involves providing essential maintenance support across all BUSINESS sites in LOCATION. You will join a small, dedicated team focused on minimising downtime and ensuring the reliability of all plant and machinery.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will work 2pm - Midnight Monday-Wednesday 2pm -11pm Thursday on a permanent contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong preventative maintenance experience and good mechanical and electrical skills within a manufacturing environment. You must also be confident communicating with equipment manufacturers and solving technical problems.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and advanced servicing, inspections, and repairs on all plant and machinery.
• Diagnose faults using technical drawings, multimeters, and direct communication with equipment manufacturers.
• Support equipment improvements, installations, relocations, and business projects.
• Maintain accurate records, order spare parts, and liaise with contractors and external engineers.
• Provide cross‑department support (Electrical, Test Systems, Premises, IT) and participate in out‑of‑hours cover when required.

Qualifications

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CNC systems and core engineering systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, compressed air).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work safely, including at height and in confined spaces.
• Good communication skills, computer skills, and a full driving licence.
• Forklift licence and H&S qualification are desirable.
