Mobile Vehicle Technician Role Overview

This is your opportunity to work for one of the UK’s largest businesses in this specialised field.

They are looking for an enthusiastic customer focused candidate, with a professional approach, who is conscientious and produces high quality of work. You will be joining an ever-growing team who are fun, energetic, and eager to get the job done. From day one you will be provided with on-the-job training, this will be ongoing throughout your career to ensure you have the full ability to carry out installations for all the products they supply and fit. A full training program will be put in place for the right candidate.

This includes a qualification to work on Electric Vehicles, Welding and fabrication works.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Candidate Requirements
  • Ideally experienced in the installation of vehicle adaptations, or a mobile vehicle technician / vehicle engineer with basic knowledge of auto electrics.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Versatile whilst working to high standards.
  • The ability to perform under pressure working to deadlines.
  • Must be computer literate to send job reports and emails after each installation.
  • Have a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the Service and Installation Department.
  • Must be willing to undertake all training required to carry out the role, including but not limited to auto electrical work, Welding and fabrication.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
Mobile Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional installation service for all of the company products.
  • Deal with customers in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
  • Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work.
  • Install products to a high standard, carrying out quality control inspections.
  • Present product demonstrations to customers after each installation to ensure they know how the products work.
  • Carry out relevant product training as required.
  • Weekly checks to make sure stock levels are correct and current.
  • Housekeeping duties and vehicle maintenance.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work alone.
  • Install products mobile at the customers address and car dealerships. With occasional workshop installations as required.
