Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

As a Maintenance Training Center Director (MTCD), your primary responsibility is to oversee the maintenance department across an entire region. As the leader of a team of Maintenance Techs, you will set the standard on equipment uptime, wash quality, and partnership with on site operations teams to ensure the best guest experience at each of our facilities. This role is key to ensuring our maintenance and operations teams are working together towards our mantra of "one team, one wash, one moment-one Mojo".

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Team Management:

  • Follow up on work order completion and Tech KPis during a weekly call cadence.
  • Manage site assets in MaintainX, including preventative maintenance schedules and follow ups.
  • Manage regional parts inventories in MaintainX.

Facilities Management Collaboration:

  • Partner with the on-site operations team to ensure all car wash equipment and infrastructure are maintained and operating at peak efficiency.
  • Build regular preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
  • Work proactively with General Managers and Maintenance Techs to prioritize urgent repairs, minimizing disruptions to service.

Facilities Management Collaboration:

  • Partner with the on-site operations team to ensure all car wash equipment and infrastructure are maintained and operating at peak efficiency.

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire your tech team to exceed KPI goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions in partnership with on-site operations to ensure site teams are knowledgeable in preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented workplace culture that encourages continuous improvement.
  • Strategically schedule and supervise team members for maximum efficiency and proper coverage.

Safety, Compliance & Damage Claims:

  • Champion safety by ensuring all maintenance team members follow protocols and personal protective equipment policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, promptly mitigating any hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations.
  • Follow up on repairs needed to avoid unnecessary damage claims, as applicable.

Recruiting & Training:

  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit and hire qualified team members who align with company values and culture.
  • Mentor and develop team members, teaching best practices in leadership, guest interaction, and operations.
  • Assist with building maintenance-centered training programs for maintenance techs and on site operations teams. #indhp

Requirements:

  • Leadership roles require a minimum of 48 hours per week, including Fridays and Saturdays, and occasional Sundays.
  • Flexibility is essential outside of our operating hours and during peak periods, holidays, and promotional events.
