We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Maintenance & Facilities Operative to join our Facilities team at Manchester's first five-star hotel, The Lowry. Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Facilities & Compliance, this role offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience in luxury hospitality while completing a recognised apprenticeship in partnership with Trafford & Stockport College.
As part of the apprenticeship you will spend one paid day each week attending Stockport College with the rest of your time working on‑site at The Lowry Hotel. You will develop skills across a wide range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating, as well as general day‑to‑day tasks, and also gain knowledge of building safety, sustainability and digital reporting, giving you a strong foundation for a career in facilities management.
This is a full‑time role on a shift basis including weekends with early and late shifts between 9 am and 9 pm. Flexibility is essential.
