A manufacturing company in Bolton is looking for an apprentice to operate CNC milling machines and lathes. Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring operations, and carrying out quality inspections. Training will be provided by a combination of workplace experience and college attendance. This may lead to a permanent position with opportunities for further progression.
JRW has manufactured special plate and forged connectors till this day, however it has now introduced stockholding to its capacity. JRW offers a variety of products which include a range of connectors in all sizes and several different materials such as mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron/ductile iron, cast steel and brass and bronze valves.
Training will be delivered by a combination of all-round training in the workplace and will also involve attending college one day a week at Hopwood Hall College (Middleton Campus). You will be assigned a work-based tutor from Hopwood Hall College who will support you through your apprenticeship
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm.
