Job description

Winbro Group Technologies are an acknowledged world market leader in the development and manufacture of advanced machine systems, technology, and services. In addition to providing turnkey solutions for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries, Winbro has an approved component manufacturing facility which utilises our own machines and technologies.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair tools for use on our non-conventional machining processes.
  • Reading engineering drawings and on job inspection
  • Mechanical Fitting
  • Conventional manual machining – Surface Grinding, cylindrical grinding, jig boring, milling, turning
  • Sub assembly & bench fitting of small precision tools
  • Following processes and procedures and maintaining records

Working Hours / Shift Pattern:

This role operates on an afternoon shift, with a standard start time of 2:00pm. Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on business needs.

  • Good level of education
  • Time served apprentice preferred
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing methods
  • A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Seeking a position within a technically demanding and challenging environment
  • Being highly motivated , confident and organised with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to absorb technical information quickly and being able to perform tasks whilst under pressure
  • Effective communication skills
